What does Qorrect do?

Qorrect is an iOS application that automatically adds international country code prefixes to phone numbers in your contacts. This helps ensure your contacts are properly formatted for international calling.

Important notes
  • The application only modifies the phone number fields of your contacts — it never changes any other contact information.
  • Before making any changes, the application automatically creates a backup of your contacts.
  • You can remove all international prefixes if you want to revert to local format.
  • Each modification is tracked with a backup, allowing you to restore previous states if needed.
  • The app only processes contacts with phone numbers from enabled countries. If a country is not enabled, contacts with numbers from that country will not be processed.

Guide

Eight steps. Done.

  1. Open the Qorrect app on your iOS device
  2. Go to Settings › Country Settings to configure which countries you want to enable
  3. Return to the main screen
  4. Toggle "Process all contacts" on if you want to update existing numbers, or off if you only want to process contacts without international prefixes
  5. Tap "Process Contacts" to begin
  6. Review any name issues detected and use the appropriate icons to resolve them
  7. Wait for the process to complete
  8. You'll see a success notification with the number of processed contacts

For Greek name suggestions, only first and last names are sent anonymously to our secure servers — no phone numbers, emails, or other identifiers are ever transmitted. All other contact processing happens locally on your device. For more information, please see our Privacy Policy.

A number saved in local form (for example 07700 900123) has no country prefix, so when you travel or your SIM roams, your phone can't reliably route the call — and apps like iMessage and WhatsApp match contacts by their full international number. International dialling needs the +<country code> form. Qorrect adds the correct prefix to every number that's missing one, so your whole address book works from anywhere.
Qorrect leaves them alone. It only adds a prefix to numbers that don't already start with a country code, so running it is safe and won't double-prefix a number that's already in international (+) format.
