Getting Started

Qorrect suggests proper Greek spellings with accents for Greek contact names saved in Latin letters (Greeklish), and a consistent international format for phone numbers, so your calls connect when you travel abroad. You review every suggestion and apply only the ones you choose.

1

Grant Contact Access

Follow the short welcome guide, then allow access to the contacts you want Qorrect to check. Limited access to selected contacts is supported on iOS 18 and later.

2

Scan Contacts

Check the country on the home screen, turn on Greeklish if you want Greek name suggestions, and tap “Scan Contacts”. Greek name suggestions need an internet connection.

3

Review Changes

Tap “Review changes”, filter by Names or Numbers and compare each original value with its suggestion. Turn off any contact you want to skip.

4

Apply

Tap Apply and confirm. The original values are saved in History, where you can undo a correction later.

Frequently Asked Questions

200+ countries with their international dialling codes are supported.
Only the ones you approve. Qorrect suggests the international format for numbers that don’t already start with +, and writes a change only after you select the contact, tap Apply and confirm. The original value is saved in History first.
Phone formatting, duplicate checks and merges run on your device. Greek name suggestions are the exception: Qorrect sends the contact’s first name and surname, a contact reference ID and the country and language setting over HTTPS to the Qorrect API. The API passes the names and setting — not the reference ID — to OpenAI to produce suggestions. Phone numbers and email addresses are not sent. Suggested spellings are cached indefinitely, feedback reports carry no contact or device identifier, and service logs are kept for 7 days. There is no AdMob, no advertising identifier and no cross-app tracking. See the privacy policy for the full details.
Yes, for corrections applied from Review. Qorrect saves the original name and phone values in History before writing to Contacts. Undo restores only those fields, and stops if they have been edited again since. History is not a complete backup of your address book.
The one for the country shown on the home screen. It starts from your device’s region, and you can pick another country at any time before scanning.
Yes. Qorrect is free to download, and Greek name suggestions, phone-number corrections, History and possible duplicates are free to use. An optional one-time Premium purchase lets you create your own name-conversion rules and removes in-app promotions; anyone who bought the earlier paid version keeps the benefits automatically. No subscriptions.

Troubleshooting

Contacts not showing

Check that contact access is enabled in Settings > Qorrect. If you allowed limited access, only the contacts you selected are checked — you can add more there. You may need to restart the app after changing access.

Wrong country code suggested

Check the country shown on the home screen — Qorrect formats numbers without a country code using that country’s rules. Change it, scan again, and turn off any contact you don’t want changed before applying.

No Greek name suggestions

Greek name suggestions appear when the country is Greece or Cyprus, Greeklish is turned on and you are connected to the internet. Names already written in Greek letters are not suggested.

Changes not saving

Ensure Qorrect has access to Contacts. Go to Settings > Qorrect and verify that Contacts access is enabled.
